General Provisions<\/strong><\/p>\n 1.1.<\/strong> These general terms and conditions apply to all agreements for renting bicycles from Rovaer Bikes in Spain. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n Rental Period<\/strong><\/p>\n 2.1.<\/strong> The rental period begins at the time of pickup\/delivery of the bicycle and ends when it is returned\/collected. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n Price and Payment<\/strong><\/p>\n 3.1.<\/strong> The rental prices include VAT unless otherwise stated. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n Deposit<\/strong><\/p>\n 4.1.<\/strong> The renter must pay a deposit in cash at the time of pickup\/delivery. This deposit will be refunded once the bicycle is returned in good condition, except in cases of damage or loss. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n Use of the Bicycle<\/strong><\/p>\n 5.1.<\/strong> The renter is responsible for the proper use of the bicycle and must comply with all traffic rules in Spain. Note: Wearing a helmet is mandatory.<\/strong> \u00a0<\/p>\n\n Damage and Maintenance<\/strong><\/p>\n 6.1.<\/strong> The renter is responsible for any damage to the bicycle caused by improper use or irresponsible behavior. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n Loss or Theft<\/strong><\/p>\n 7.1.<\/strong> In case of loss or theft of the bicycle, the renter is responsible for the replacement costs. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n Cancellation and Modifications<\/strong><\/p>\n 8.1.<\/strong> Cancellations must be reported at least 48 hours before the rental date<\/strong> in writing via email. If canceled within 48 hours, the renter is required to pay the full rental amount. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n Liability<\/strong><\/p>\n 9.1.<\/strong> Rovaer Bikes is not liable for damage or injury resulting from the use of the bicycle unless caused by gross negligence on our part. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n Insurance<\/strong><\/p>\n 10.1.<\/strong> Bicycles are not automatically insured. 1.2.<\/strong> By booking through our website, the renter agrees to these terms and conditions.<\/p>\n
2.2.<\/strong> The renter is required to return the bicycle or have it collected on the agreed date and time.<\/p>\n
3.2.<\/strong> Payment must be made in advance via the website as follows:<\/p>\n\n
4.2.<\/strong> The amount of the deposit depends on the type of bicycle.<\/p>\n
5.2.<\/strong> The renter may not transfer the bicycle to third parties without the permission of Rovaer Bikes.
5.3.<\/strong> The renter may only use the bicycle on public and well-maintained roads unless otherwise agreed with Rovaer Bikes.<\/p>\n
6.2.<\/strong> In case of damage to the bicycle, the renter will bear the costs of repair or replacement.
6.3.<\/strong> Any defects in the bicycle must be reported to Rovaer Bikes immediately.<\/p>\n
7.2.<\/strong> The renter must report loss or theft immediately to the local police and Rovaer Bikes.<\/p>\n
8.2.<\/strong> Changes to the rental agreement can be made based on availability. Any costs associated with modifications will be communicated by Rovaer Bikes.<\/p>\n
9.2.<\/strong> The renter is responsible for the bicycle during the rental period and must ensure sufficient security (for example, using a bike lock).<\/p>\n
10.2.<\/strong> The insurance does not cover damage caused by personal negligence or reckless behavior.<\/p>\n
12.2.<\/strong> In the event of a dispute, it will be submitted to the competent courts in Spain.<\/p>\n
